Lasagna

This is a backpacking lasagna recipe by John Weber.

Packaging Instructions

1. One box of lasagna dinner mix
2. One gallon zip bag
3. Open box, pour noodles into plastic bag
4. Open sauce package and pour into bag
5. Add 1 Tbsp beef soup base
6. Add 3 ounces pasta (by weight)
7. Add 1 tsp white sugar
8. Add 2 Tbsp tomato powder
9. Add 1 tsp dry onion
10. Add 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
11. Add 1/4 tsp black pepper
12. Add 3/4 cup TVP

Preparation Instructions

1. Empty bag into pan
2. Add 4 1/2 cups water
3. Mix well
4. Set on stove, cover, bring to boil
5. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes
6. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes
